    Eastern Sports Management - Lawton is currently accepting applications for Maintenance Team Lead. The Maintenance Team Lead is a part-time, seasonal position that is responsible for the upkeep and care of all outdoor sports assets. The Maintenance Team Lead is supervised and evaluated by the property General Manager.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Maintain infields at baseball/softball fields using hand, power, or riding equipment.

    Lead storm recovery efforts to get sports fields game-ready after rain.

    Apply infield condition, quick dry, or other materials as needed.

    Maintain edging between grass and dirt on playing surfaces.

    Remove trash or other debris from playing surfaces.

    Line playing fields using chalk or paint as needed.

    Organize, stock, and control inventory.

    Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed, required, or assigned by supervisory personnel and/or the General Manager.

    Requirements

    Familiarity with typical lawn and sports field care equipment

    Detail-oriented and possess outstanding organizational skills

    Ability to work independently and with integrity

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

    Minimum of two (2) years of sports field maintenance experience; high school education; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English

    Ability to operate power or riding equipment

    Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills

    Preferred management experience and the ability to direct other personnel

The Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development, organization, delivery, and administration of sports leagues, youth programs, tournaments, and activities targeted toward youth and adults. The incumbent assists in the recruitment, hiring, supervision, and development of the team.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Assist in the development, organization, delivery, and administration of sports leagues, tournaments, youth programs, activities, and awards.

    Assist in planning, organization, scheduling, and directing all games, facilities, officials, and scorekeepers for sports and activities.

    Assist in the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, development, and supervision of sport team members.

    Ensure a high level of customer service for all program participants.

    Ensures that program standards are met.

    Assist in producing and managing the program budget to ensure revenue and program service goals are achieved.

    Eastern Sports Management is currently accepting applications for League Marshal at its Lawton, OK, facility. The League Marshal is responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests at events managed by ESM, including but not limited to players, coaches, officials, and spectators. The League Marshal reports directly to the Senior Program Director.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Resolve any roster or eligibility challenges.

    Monitor and limit player sidelines to players, coaches, and officials

    Ensure correct equipment is available for games

    Make sure games start on time

    Respond to all incidents, accidents, injuries, and altercations

    Complete and file required reports

    Ensure the Senior Program Director is informed of issues and updates for unusual circumstances.

    Monitor practice/games.

    Ensure the enforcement of applicable ESM and/or Lawton Parks & Recreation rules.

    Ensure scoring is accurate

    REQUIREMENTS
