Get ready, Lawton-Fort Sill! The 11th Annual Freedom Festival is bringing the HEAT this summer with two nights of action-packed fun at Elmer Thomas Park - Friday, June 27 & Saturday, June 28!
From 20+ bounce houses and 50+ vendors, to the hotdog eating contests, derby race, live music, and jaw-dropping fireworks and drone shows - there’s something for everyone!
Proudly supported by the Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce, the Lawton Fort Sill Convention & Visitors Bureau, WSB Engineering, Goodyear, Guernsey, AT&T, and the City of Lawton / Lawton Hotel-Motel Tax Fund.

MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Competition
Pitch, Hit & Run is a free event that creates a safe and fun environment for kids to stay active and learn or continue to play baseball and softball in their local communities. Participation gives the athletes a chance to compete and earn a spot in a Team Championship or National Finals. The Pitch, Hit & Run property is for boys and girls 7-14 years old and consists of a series of movements that are important in baseball and softball. Athletes will be tested, and their measurements will be recorded. Based on their scores, they will advance from a local event to a Team Championship and then to the National Finals.

When: • Local competitions are held from November-July 31st ---WINNERS --> Team Championship competitions are held August-October ---WINNERS --> The National Finals are held post MLB’s World Series 2 in the Game 1 & 2’s Stadium. • Local and Team Championship Winners are not guaranteed to move on to next level. Winners are put into a pool and Top Performing Winners are selected to compete at the next level.
Why: Pitch, Hit & Run your way through your local competition and earn a chance to compete at one of PHR’s Team Championship sites held within Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball’s Stadiums spread across the US. Top 4 scores in each age division from one of the Team Championships, wins an all-expenses-paid trip for the player and one guardian to Game 2 of the World Series!
